AGLET STRATEGIES PAID INTERN

 

Aglet Strategies provides digital communications, media, and campaign strategy to advance human rights, civil rights, and other good causes. We are currently looking to bring on a paid intern to assist on important client campaigns.  Learn more about our company, clients, and work at agletstrategies.com.

Expected tasks and requirements for the role include:

  • Able to turn existing materials/direction into social media posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

  • Experience or aptitude/willingness to learn tools such as WordPress, MailChimp, Zoom webinars, Hootsuite, Google docs, Canva, mail merges, etc. to prep/post/schedule/send content for clients

  • Basic aptitude for working with spreadsheets, sorting data for different client project needs, and research

  • Skilled in project management, able to manage multiple tasks and compete them on time

  • A self starter and creative problem-solver

  • Able to incorporate feedback to improve output for clients

  • A clear communicator, written and verbally. Strong copy editing skills are a plus

  • Background and interest in human rights, civil rights, philanthropy, racial justice, and the myriad of related issues and causes


There is no minimum years of schooling or work experience required. Successful candidates will be able to show relevant experience, which can be inclusive of school projects, community organizing, and/or passion projects. There is no location requirement other than working in a location with a computer and internet connection.

Pay

$25/hour, for approximately 10 hours of work a week. Scheduling of hours can be flexible each week, based on the intern’s schedule, unless otherwise discussed together in advance.

Duration

2 months, with the potential to extend.
